On Saturday, Nov. 19, beginning at 10 a.m., families who’ve successfully registered for the Thanksgiving meals can pick up their boxed dinners at the church. Families simply drive up to the church parking lot and shows identification to receive the box of food.
This is the third year River of Life has given away 200 *free* Thanksgiving dinners to Omaha-area families facing food security.
The meal includes:
- Uncooked turkey (13 lbs or larger)
- Box of potatoes
- Box of stuffing
- Canned vegetables
- Cranberry sauce
- Gravy (can or dry)
- Boxed brownie mix
This is River of Life’s way of providing hope and nourishment for families in our area facing food insecurity.
