Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field” (Matthew 9:37-38, NIV).

My wife, Carrie, and I have three daughters, a son, and a son through marriage. We enjoy building relationships by serving in our community, engaging in mission trips and getting involved in a variety of athletic endeavors. Our entire family is thankful for the opportunity to be part of River of Life as we go on mission with Jesus together.

Our family was sent to Omaha in January of 2021 from RAIZED-Green Bay, Wisconsin, where I served as Church Planter and Lead Pastor. Prior to that I was Church Planter and Lead Pastor with Community of Life-Oregon, Wisconsin, after partnering with Christ Memorial-Fitchburg, Wisconsin, and Shepherd of the Hills-Greenville, Wisconsin, as an outreach and discipleship Pastor. My first call was to Lutheran High Northwest-Rochester Hills, Michigan, as a Theology teacher, basketball coach and track coach following my completion of a BA from Concordia – St. Paul (1993) and a MDiv from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis (1997).

I’m passionate about making disciples, multiplying servant leaders, birthing missional communities and planting churches. One of my goals is to be a lifelong learner so I invested in becoming both a certified church planter and mission coach and I continue to serve as Executive Director with The 2:47 Network, which is a growing church planting network that I co-founded. My hobbies include reading, playing and coaching sports and being part of an adventure. I’m excited to see how God works in and through our adventure with River of Life.
